Life Under Divine Influence

The Christian life is not meant to be complicated. Jesus Christ came to give us an abundant life, a life full of Spiritual fruit, a life of freedom and victory. Unfortunately, religion has infiltrated our lives and it has robbed us of this gift.  We were not created to earn or achieve from God but we were created to receive from Him and display His love and goodness in our lives.  We were created to live under His Divine influence and we were created to walk in His Spirit.

As we begin to learn more about God's plan for our lives, we will begin to experience the good life God planned for us to live - a life under His Divine influence.

Off-Season

Everyone experiences an off-season in life - sometimes more than one. An off-season is a dry time; it is a time of lack and a time of trials. These times can feel daunting and painful; therefore, we must understand the purpose of these times and we must be sure that God has a plan for our good and His glory.

Great Read to Help You Find Your Freedom In Christ,

August 16, 2013  By Mike "Mike" (Michigan)

This review is from: The Two of Me (Kindle Edition)I have been studying the incredible benefits and freedom that is found in knowing who we are In Christ. This book caught my attention and really lived up to my hopes and expectations. Stephanie White does a great job of breaking down the Biblical solution to overcoming the flesh by living in the spirit. She uses a lot of scripture to support her teaching and digs into the Hebrew and Greek meaning of several words to open up the scriptures. It was a great reminder of how every Christian desperately needs Gods Word to fill their lives. How we cannot live on bread alone but need God's Word to really live in the freedom He intended for us.

A Season of Grief

Have you suffered a loss and you are just not sure where to go from here?  A Season of Grief helps you along the grieving process while encouraging you with God's Word and inspirational poetry.

A Season of Grief is a beautiful book written with deep empathy. The authors, Stephanie White and Kathleen Higham take the reader on a journey through a time of grief while giving hope with relevant Bible verses, poems and experiences.

While White understands the need to grieve, she states that grieving doesn't mean that one lacks faith - it simply means that one is human and is experiencing great loss but this is not meant to be a way of life. the Word of God is what helps one move from that point and go forward in life.

Higham is troubled when she hears someone say, "If that person would have had more faith, God would have healed him" and states that this is a very misguided and damaging statement. She goes on to narrate her experience with loss through which she asked Jesus into her life.

The authors encourage the reader to be honest with and entrust God with their pain because He is willing to comfort all who hurt. This book gives the reader an assurance that God loves us the same and that His promises are not received by those He "favors" over another.

Although this book appears small, it is loaded with hope and encouragement and it would definitely be a great help to anyone going through a hard time of grief as well as those standing to support them.

31 Days of Just Jesus

Life is full of distractions but we need to realize how important it is to focus on Christ.  So many times we are tempted to ignore the Word of God because we are just so busy, but busy is just an excuse for a weak life in the flesh.  We need to be strong Spiritually - that means we need an healthy intake of the Word daily.  This devotional will help you spend time in the Word and it will help you take the focus off of you, your circumstances, what others think, etc. and put the focus back on to Christ where it belongs.
